Cheaper Isn't Always Easier!

Do-it-yourself websites may be cheaper, but choosing a custom-built website keeps it trouble-free

One avenue that a business has for creating a website is to use a 'canned website' or a website where the user creates an account, chooses a pre-made design, uploads logos, pictures, types in text for all of their pages, and that's it, they're online. The user then pays a monthly fee for the account, and it ends up being less expensive than perhaps a custom-built website.

However, while this is a great option for some, it is not for everyone. We have had many custom-web-design clients who have gone down this path, and for many reasons could not get a professional-looking end result.

For some, the interface to create their website is just too complicated. Not everyone is an online power user, and most have trouble sorting through the lingo and dozens of pages that need to be navigated to set up even the most basic site. Others have a specific look in mind for their website and something pre-built just can't cut it and give them what they need. Others still, are too busy to worry about building a website and would prefer to let the experts in website design take care of everything.
